Ek mixing bowl mein atta, suji, namak, aur ghee ko acche se milayein. Thoda-thoda pani daal kar ek tight dough banayein.
Ab, dough ko 15-20 minutes ke liye rest karne ke liye rakh dein.
Gas par tandoor ya oven preheat karein, medium flame par.
Rested dough ko firse acche se knead karein aur baati banane ke liye small balls bana lein.
Tandoor mein ya oven mein, baati ko medium flame par 30-35 minutes tak bake karein ya jab tak woh golden brown aur fully cooked na ho jayein.
For Dal:
Dal ko achhe se dho kar, pressure cooker mein pani daal kar 3-4 whistles tak pakayein.
Pakne ke baad, cooker ko band kar dein aur dal ko masalas ke saath ek side par rakh dein.
Ek pan mein ghee garam karein aur usme pyaaz ko golden brown hone tak sauté karein.
Ab, tamatar, adrak, hari mirch, aur saare masale (haldi powder, lal mirch powder, dhania powder, garam masala, aur namak) daal kar masalas ko acche se pakayein.
Cooked dal ko masalon ke saath mix karein aur ek boil aane tak pakayein.
