Ingredients

  • 250 grams paneer, tukde kar liye huye (cubed paneer)
  • 2 bade pyaaz (large onions), kat kar (chopped)
  • 2 bade tamatar (large tomatoes), kat kar (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup makhan (butter)
  • 1/4 cup malai (fresh cream)
  • 1 inch adrak (ginger) ki piece, kat kar (chopped)
  • 4-5 kali mirch (black peppercorns)
  • 4-5 laung (cloves)
  • 1 badi elaichi (black cardamom)
  • 1 chammach dhaniya powder (coriander powder)
  • 1/2 chammach lal mirch powder (red chili powder)
  • 1/4 chammach haldi powder (turmeric powder)
  • 1 chammach garam masala powder
  • Namak (salt) as per taste
  • 1 chammach shahad (honey) (optional)
  • Dhaniya patti (coriander leaves) for garnish

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions
  1. Ek kadhai mein makhan garam karein aur usme kali mirch, laung, aur badi elaichi daal kar chalein.

  2. Pyaaz aur adrak ko kadhai mein daal kar unhe golden brown hone tak bhunein.

  3. Tamatar daal kar masalon ke saath pakayein, jab tak ki tamatar gal jayein.

  4. Ab is mixture ko thanda hone dein aur fir se blender mein grind karein, taki gravy smooth ho jaye.

  5. Kadhai mein phir se 1-2 chammach makhan garam karein aur usme dhaniya powder, lal mirch powder, haldi powder, aur namak daal kar acche se mix karein.

  6. Ab blender mein grind kiya hua mixture kadhai mein daal kar acche se mix karein aur 2-3 minutes tak pakayein.

  7. Paneer aur malai daal kar gravy mein milayein aur 5-7 minutes tak pakayein, jab tak ki paneer achhe se absorb na kar le gravy ko.

  8. Garam masala powder aur shahad daal kar acche se mix karein.

  9. Paneer Butter Masala ko dhaniya patti se sajayein aur garama-garam serve karein.
